Thanks for your entry
Praveena. :D Thought I share some thoughts after I read what you have written. (The rest of you don't feel left out. Yours is coming soon! :)
Your buddy is Simon? A guy?
Cultural ExperienceYup, we are very conservative people by comparison to the Aussies right?
Perhaps there are also aspects about the way we interact that we can appreciate?
Each culture and society has its own code of behaviour and beliefs so I guess with your exposure now to a different one from what you're used to you'll appreciate that (the differing code of conduct and beliefs) and be able to adapt when you find yourself in a different country and cultural setting. :)
Drama WorkshopGreat to know that you have been an excellent student in Miss Lee class! :)
The Stanislavski technique is the theory and practice which the man designed to help actors peform their characters in a more “real” manner. What you guys have been exposed to in both Miss Lee's classes and Allison's workshop are the basics. Can you think of a time when the Stanislvski technique could have been applied to make your performance a better one? I can! You know about Mr S.? I studied him in JC/NIE (can't remember when or where exactly) but I only got him sorted out after I started teaching about him. Forces me to REALLY understand and get him right! :)
Cheers! Mdm N
we had a smashing good day, 7:27 AM.
